Lies lies lies lies - Satan is a liar

Here is a wonderful example of one of the ways that Satan will lie to our young men. I'd like to thank brother Samuelson for putting this together. We will be making posters of this image and distributing it to all of the members of the Aaronic Priesthood. We encourage every young man to hang this up in their bedroom, or any place where they will see it on a constant basis. We need to make it clear to them that Satan is a liar and to must avoid his evil plan at all costs. You can click on this image to view it larger. It has a more powerful impact that way.

Definitely not long term if you aren’t promised with life eternal with tithe dollars.

I think this makes the Mormon ads look silly. I hope it catches on so there will be more like it to come. I can picture my sons room covered in your "lie" posters to keep him on track.

Thanks so much.

Wow! This isn't doing for me what you are expecting it to do. I love it.

Let me suggest that the next such ad read "Satanic Lie #75: You should feel ashamed that you're attracted to this" with a similarly delectable young woman in decidedly non-temple-ready attire.

Hey, Bish.

I'm sorry it took me so long to visit your blog. Really sorry. Especially after this post. I was just about to use Google Photos to relocate those pix of Britney Spears from the FIRST time the paparazzi caught her "bald," but thank goodness something led me here instead. You saved me. (Not SAVED, but, you know.) You always have the right thing to say. Your words are like manna from heaven. (As opposed to manna from, say, Costco.) I would really appreciate it if you would put up a few more examples of Satan's lies, so that I can be sure to recognize them. If it's easier, you can just email them to me.

You da manna! (Get it?)

P.S. It just occurred to me that while it's wrong to use a woman as an object, it's OK to use a woman as an object lesson. (You can use that.)

Thank you Bishop,

My son put this poster up on the wall in the bathroom near his downstairs bedroom, and I can tell you, it has made a remarkable impact on our family. He now spends 15 to 20 minutes several times a day locked behind the door in there reflecting upon Satan's lies. And when he emerges and comes up stairs, he always seems so much more calm and serene, like the Spirit has risen in him and expelled some built up frustration over the lies that Satan projects.
And I can tell you, my husband even seems to have been moved. He has started using the downstairs bathroom for his showers in the morning and evening to remind him to CTR. Like he says before going downstairs, "Satan preys upon all men, not just young men, dear."
What an inspired man you are! Thank you Bishop Higgins.

I just hope everybody realizes this isn't doctrine - just satire. I do wish he wouldn't put these pictures up though, unless he put little "blocker" boxes over certain areas.
