We rate your testimonies

Just so that you, we, as a bishopric, rate each and every one of the testimonies given on fast and testimony Sunday. We use a five star rating. These are mostly kept to ourselves. I will tell you that Reed Thomas usually gets 4 or 5 stars. But not this week. We also award a testimony of the month award. You won't know who it is, though. It's just for our own amusement.

Testimony meeting would be much better if it were more like the Gong Show. I'm just sayin.

bishop, i have to confess that i rate your blog entries. they usually get two thumbs up, but i'm a little disappointed in the frequency of your updates. i feel like i need daily or at least weekly input and inspiration, not semi-monthly. thumbs down bishop. thumbs down.

Oh my, does it boost my score if I cry real tears - not just faking it - and send my voice into a super high pitch? I can also do loud sniffles into the microphone.

hey bishop,

i wanted to let you know that i wont be at sacrament meeting for fast and testimony meeting this superbowl sunday.

my son wont be there either. we have tickets to the superbowl down in arizona, so you will need to find a replacement microphone deacon for next sunday.

good luck with your testimony ratings. as for me and my house we dont give a damn...

I think your Blog is INCREDIBLY innapropriate. I am a Member of the Church and I am appauled a the things you say and the comments these other Members leave. How dare you say you RATE people's Testimonies. And I am shocked that you would state that someone in the Ward was not able to get married in the Temple because they were not a full Tithe payer. I would not appreciate the whole world knowing that about me. I really think you should be asked to leave your calling. I am going to forward your Blog to the First Presidency so they know what kind of " Bishop " you are. Unbelievable.

To the person that said this blog is inappropriate:
First of all, you are way too uptight and my guess is you are probably stressed out from a lot of unrepented sins. That's the first thing. The second thing, is that we joke and tease in our ward and if you were in my congregation, the first thing I would do is tickle you until you laughed real loud. That's right. Loud laughter. It might be a sin, but so is calling this holy blog inappropriate. I go by the Holy Ghost when I write this. And while you probably use the spirit of the devil, I still can love you. You are not my enemy. You are my friend. Love really is the answer to almost everything. And "fourteen" is the answer to some things.
