The real reason the organist was released

If any of you lack the real reason the organist was released, let him ask the bishop. Sister Danzig was released from being organist, not because she was kept playing too loud (as brother Jepson suggested on a weekly basis) but because she was mad I would not let her install and use a drum machine to accompany her during sacrament meeting. That's the real reason.

C'mon bishop let us have drums, and guitars, and a more pleasurable experience at church. Signed,

Jack and Dianne

But what about acoustic drums, would the Handbook, and the spirit, allow that?

Thank you for having so much of the spirit to guide us. Drums are not of the spirit.

i was worried she was released because of the whole mishap with her thinking she was at the ward baseball tourney and playing take me out to the ball game for our sacrament hymn.

I would have to disagree with Jason, although it has been several months since there has been a new post, which I might add, is a bit "handicapped" as Jason alluded to...

I disagree, this site is awesome. I wish Higgins was my real bishop.

Of course you shouldn't have let her use a drum machine! You should call another person to be a live drummer, so as to give another person the opportunity to serve!

I have to know if this is real. I laugh so hard, I cry.

It is getting harder and harder to stay active since I can't get regular updates, Bishop Higgins. Come on, the ward and the Lord expect you to put your shoulder to the wheel and be anxiously engaged in the good cause of blogging more regularly...
