With or without mustard? It's important for me to know this so when I bring you a hoagie in order to bribe you for a temple recommend, it's to your liking.
Awesome!
...Wow Bishop that was a long prayer. That is why I bring my IPOD so that I can watch movies if the prayer goes too long. Is there protocal in the handbook on how to end prayers when they run on too long?....
See, that's why you need a gong. When the prayer, or talk or testimony for that matter gets a little lengthy, you just bang the gong and everyone knows it's time to leave the stand.

Bishop - I often use my stopwatch to time the closing prayer. Would you like me to prepare a report so that you know what you're getting into when you ask people to perform this important task? I have 3 years of data.
this blog makes me sad. misrepresents the church so much - especially in this time where we are under so much scrutiny with prop 8 & all.
Do you know what makes me sad? Sin. And watching young kids with a lot of potential waste time playing video games or doing a lot of texting. Some texting is ok. You know what else make me sad? Extended melancholy. You know what else makes me sad? When people turn down the opportunity to serve the Lord. We called Brother Naitheir last week to be the Sunday School President and he asked if he could be Relief Society President instead. That makes me sad. Another thing that makes me sad is when I'm boating with my family and we'll go by another family boating, but we'll notice that some of the girls on the other boat are wearing immodest bathing suits. And I'll point it out to my kids, "See kids. Notice how the cut near the rump is so skinny?" That's what makes me sad.
Do you know what makes me sad? When you don't post on this blog.
