I had heard a rumor that Ryan Seacrest would be hosting General Conference this year in an effort to get the young kids and non-members to pay attention. Well, as you know by now, that was just a rumor. I really had my hopes up.

Bishop Higgins -
Funny you mention someone else "hosting" General Conference. My 11-year old son and I have thought for sometime it would be great to have a "Price is Right" style added to General Conference.
The Church could hire Rich Fields to be the announcer, give Pres. Monson a skinny mike, and after commercial breaks (yeah, you'd need to include those), you could have him say "Rich, whooo is our next speaker?" Whereupon Rich would say, "Tom, our next speaker is Boyd Packer! Come on down! You're the next speaker in General Conference!"
Think of the ratings! Through the roof!
I LOVE the Price Is Right idea. I could probably stay away for the entire two hours.
Bishop, I think you started this rumor yourself. I mean no disrespect but they wouldn't get Ryan because I think he may be in the closet, and that wouldn't be fittin - it just wouldn't be fittin.
