What's with this, Bish?
First I comment on how I fail to understand the "bird in the *hard*" bit, and you moderate my comment; then you change it to "bird in the *hand*"!
If you can't depend on your Bishop to be open, honest etc, on whom can you depend?
Please tell me that you didn't drop my previous comment because you were embarrassed that I noticed that you are not perfect. I mean, I just totally look up to you, and trust you, and would feel really stupid if my trust in the guy with the important calling were misplaced.
Dear Sister Know-it-all.
I can't think of one right now, but I'm sure there is a scripture somewhere that says something about not thinking the leaders are perfect because that kind of thinking can get you in to some really hot water.
Let me give you an example. I once lived in Oklahoma. See, there you go. I lived in Oklahoma. I'm not perfect. And yet some people think that just because I'm a bishop and that I have a beautiful baritone voice and that my wife can still wear a size two dress that I somehow must be perfect. But I'm not.
