I saw a bumber sticker today that said, "Who would Jesus bomb?" which is sort of silly, because they didn't have bombs back then.

And I have a question, Bishop. Why do they call people that can't walk "lame"? Isn't it hard enough for them knowing they can't walk? Why add insult to injury by telling them they are also lame?
I don't know why them call them "lame". You're right, though. It isn't very nice. Now you're sort of young, so you might not remember this, but we used to call mentally challenged people "retarded". How do you think that made them feel? Not very good about themselves. Plus, they had jelly all over their shirt, so there was that, too.
And while we've always called the blind people "blind", we used to also try and get them to see how fast they could go through an obstacle course. Now that wasn't very nice either. I'm so glad times have changes.
Oh. And we still call hunchbacks, "Hunchbacks". Some things never change.
Don't forget how hurtful we still are by calling some people "dumb". Just because they can't talk doesn't mean that they are dumb, right?

I call blind people visually impaired. And I call black people black people. And I call retards Steve and Cathy (my best friend and my sister). And I've never been so offended by a blog posting in my life.
I think Jesus would bomb right-wing fundies because they are lame, retarded, blind and dumb. But, hey, they're not hunchbacks so they've got that going for them.

I have been called a lot worse than leftist. Moon Bat. I quite like that. But I wasn't aware that democrats aren't allowed in our church. Bishop, does this mean that the membership of Alice Cooper, Jewel and Steve Martin are also on the line? I'll go ahead and set up my interview...
No flippin way! Alice Cooper is a member?! That is so awsome!! Does he get to wear his makeup to church? I wonder what his calling is. He would make a great primary choister.
