Did you know...?

Did you know that Brigham Young had a vision wherein he saw that if Porter Rockwell lived in our time he'd drive a Hummer? It's true.

Yeah, that sounds like something Brigham would say. Was Porter driving that Hummer while he was living on the sun?

Would he maliciously drive over small animals with it? 'cause that sounds more like him.

He would probably drink Red Bulls too

I asked my friend Bill Clinton about a hummer, and he said it was definitely something different than a drivable vehicle.

All I can say Bishop is that living in your ward would seriously tempt me to move back to Utah!!

Just learned of your blog. I know it's your blog so you can do whatever you want with it, but I'm wondering who you really are and what your purpose in doing this is. These posts on the top would lead me to believe you're just out for a few laughs, but as I scrolled down further, I wondered if you are out to do the Church harm. Just curious.

You're the best Bishop ever!

I want to respond to the comment above where someone asks if I want to harm the church. I don't get mad easily, but that sure gets my goat. (And that's not the same as being mad). Why would I want to harm something that has given me so much? Maybe the real question is, why do you have such little faith? What major sins are keeping you from enjoying the sweet, sweet feeling that comes from reading this blog and knowing that everything in the world can be good if only you believe. Do I go boating with my kids? Yes I do. What does that have to do with anything? Nothing, except this: Do you go boating with your kids? I didn't think so. You don't even have kids. And yet I do, and I'm the bishop and you're a sinner and I go boating. We all are different and I don't hold any ill will towards you. The only person I hold ill will towards is Satan.

Emily P, all I can say is that if you were living in our ward, you'd already be in Utah.
